docusignapi - What is expected for the EnvelopeAttachment parameters of "Type" and "Label"? -


what expected label , type? want attach documents envelopes @ envelope creation time , want viewing envelope able see them, think right place (correct me if wrong). but, no matter what, still need know expected properties of attachment object.

i believe referring what's known signer attachments in docusign. signer attachments envelope tabs allow recipients add attachments envelope when turn in routing order. while add signer attachment tabs recipients when creating envelope (just how add signature tabs or date tabs etc) actual file attachment doesn't happen until after envelope has been sent, when it's recipients turn.

if want add file envelope in draft state , want recipients able see it, add document envelope don't configure tabs on document. recipients able read document , not perform actions on it.

since looks using soap api, there code walkthrough written little while ago shows how make use of envelopeattachment object, , shows how set tablabel , type. please see here:
