i created , edited config file per instruction. file located here:
/home/shalin/.config/ edited as:
port = /dev/tty0 and:
model = @ finally, when try test using:
sudo gnokii --identify gnokii isn't listed in possible command on prompt. tab goes gnome, don't think gnokii installed.
as can see, have no idea whats wrong, , should doing. appreciated.
regards, shalin.
i believe haven't installed gnokii. smsd not gnokii. apt-get install gnokii , try running gnokii --identify command line
also have make sure port exact port modem connected to. when plugged modem in , did dmesg didn't list luckily had 6 usb ports tried of them until found right one. line in config file is:
port = /dev/ttyusb3
the number @ end vary depending on port.
