git - Workflow - local and remote -


am trying upgrade workflow: go psd-html-ftp.

i've been looking git>local(mamp)/stage>deployment style workflow , having blocks.

  1. git - using git (git hub) still trying hang of it, seems pretty useful far.

  2. development server - have mamp , have used it, typically once site live, work off of live site. cms driven, either wordpress or symphony cms. not sure how clone database? in other words, not sure how set staging/development area live sites in sync.

  3. i idea of bypassing ftp , cloning server either beanstalk or git ssh (if correct.) however, work on 10-20 sites , find hard pay $20+ month few private repositories. unless misunderstanding, there no need push private repository (for me) backup dropbox, clone server nice solution.

i hope won't chew me out overall question , not asking product advice necessarily, trying improve workflow , want confirm , on parts of it.

ios - Show keyboard with UITextField in the input accessory view -
