Is Statistics::Descriptive similar to using Statistics::R module( in a PERL Script)? -


i think statistics::descriptive not call r language module, whereas statistics::r does.

am right?

statistics::descriptive simple pure-perl module offering basic functionality stats. can read documentation or source code answer question yourself: statistics::descriptive not use r under hood. have thought statistical ananlysis languages other r?

the statistics::descriptive , statistics::r modules different: whereas s::d offers perl objects representing data collections can call various methods on, s::r convenient wrapper around r repl, , requires write snippets of r code.
