how to solve age problems in algebra maths? -


this problem regarding age. don't know how solve problem. please me. problem

not programming question.. hey, think every programmer needs math skills @ disposal.

since looks homework problem .. let me give pointers.

a man 5 times old son

son's age = x, man's age = 5x

2 years ago sum of squares of ages 1114 (i think)

(x-2)2 + (5x-2)2 = 1114

solve x!!
