Slow down Twilio's TwiML “Say” command for standard text on text-to-speech -


how can slow down normal content inside "say" verb? spanish accent fast , people have trouble following/understanding said. ideally following perfect:

<say voice="woman" language="es" speed="0.5">el siguiente mensaje se repetirá en español</say>

note made speed="0.5" param. not option twilio slowing reading of content of "say" verb half looking for.

i don't think supported in explicit way ideas on how accomplish more hackish welcome too. text dynamic.

could suggest use twilio's new voice, 'alice', think sounds lot better, i'm afraid don't speak spanish it's difficult test:

<say voice="alice" language="es-es">...</say>
