i have noticed interesting technique doctrine using for it's connection , statement interfaces.

they have class called pdoconnection, naturally extends pdo, implements connection, interface created doctrine.

the connection interface defines copies of several pdo methods, , although doctrines pdoconnection class doesn't implement of them, fact extends pdo means does.

my best guess why did wanted design connection drivers around pdo's methodology, know pattern called , if regularly gets used.

Java, LWJGL, OpenGL 1.1, decoding BufferedImage to Bytebuffer and binding to OpenGL across classes -
