user interface - web request through ssh -


at school can access online library , documents can accessed computers within schools network. want access them home computer. can ssh computer @ school , in theory run x-window environment, open webbrowser @ schools computer , view documents, graphical interface rather slow.

i wonder if there way run webbrowser on own computer while webrequest through ssh connection.

does know how ?

a vpn obvious option since haven't mentioned that, try using ssh connection vpn (i've never done no idea if work). http://docs.cslabs.clarkson.edu/wiki/use_ssh_as_a_vpn
