how to uninstall plugin/egit from ADT eclipse -


i found these instructions

you should not remove plug-ins eclipse. plug-ins should installed features using update manager. same update manager can used disable plug-ins disabling feature belong to. run > eclipse > installation details, select software no longer want , click uninstall. (on macintosh eclipse > eclipse > installation details.) in older versions, might need run > software updates > manage configuration..., select feature of interest, , disable task shown in right window.

but not working me.

from adt, go > install new software... click on link "what installed". have list of plugins , uninstall button @ bottom.
