Does changing Magento SKU affect the Order History -


i have request change sku existing product, wondering if changing sku affect order history of product. since sku global identifier in magento not sure effect of changing it. magento 1.7 ce

order data stored in sales_flat_order_item , sales_flat_order tables. if change sku of product in catalog, not affect sku of product on existing orders.
