filepath - shorten cmd visible file path -


i learning program java , when navigate cmd window folder programs, area showing path becomes long. want know how , if possible shorten path input closer left of window?

i had same annoying problem (having work 5 or 6 directories deep) , cleaned cmd display me.

if doesn't work you, other suggestion follow keval's advice above , move files farther in hierarchy if possible. that's easiest solution, , ocham's razor , :)
