delphi - SQLite and/or Zeos causing crash with win8 -
just copying system (been working years on win7) on win8 , runs (9 other programs) except 2 apps use sqlite3. built using d5ent , zeos 6.6. can't go zeos 7 not compile in d5 , not want convert 2007.
both crash "sql error: library routine called out of sequence."
i have no idea means or how fix it. tried moving entire thing non-restricted, well, less-restricted part of hdd , still same error. less-restricted, mean out of "program files" folders.
any thoughts me on this?
thanks
ok, here's an answer. not the answer real underlying problem.
on wild hare, created 5g truecrypt container , formatted ntfs , copied folder structure , works perfectly.
so, while not answer, appears me msoft problem, or maybe sqlite3 problem. suffice can run system in truecrypt container short , pithy password.
just double-check, used sd card folder structure on , plugged win8 pc. ran of applications perfectly. sd card had been formatted ntfs, not sure if has or not.
so, win8 run apps sqlite3 long not on win8 c: drive. and, before leaps in assumption, original system win7 pro , running fine on win7 c: drive.
