html - HTML5 standards of nesting div in li or dl -


i know not allowed nest div in li in html5, although can , works. mean shoudn't use it? standard nesting divs in dls?

first of - information wrong. div elements allowed inside li elements. might have confused ul/ol elements, may contain lis accordingly.

what has changed in html5 is, not have block-level , inline elements anymore. instead there more complex distinction of elements several categories.

to see allowed inside element according html5, see element description of specific tag (in case li) can see, flow content allowed (which means can put pretty there - of course div elements).
